There’s a rumor that once a month, strange things happen in the sleepy surf town of Esterillos Centro.
Locals say the waves shimmer differently. The air gets warmer. The Scarlett macaw’s start freestyle beatboxing. And if you’re lucky, you might catch a band of tropical misfits called Los Mojados playing by moonlight, barefoot and loud, somewhere between the palm trees and the bonfire.
Welcome to the Full Moon Party at La Escapadita — a magical beachfront vortex where gravity loosens up, cocktails flow like tides, and even the moon shows up in full glam.

- Live music from Los Mojados — Costa Rica’s house band of mischief and moonshine since 2003.
- Bonfire on the beach (unless the rain gods say otherwise — in which case, we just dance wetter).
