Technically, La Escapadita is a beachfront hotel in Esterillos Centro.
Technically, we are also a restaurant.
And a bar.
But those labels don’t tell the real story.
Those are simply the tools.
What we are actually building is a gathering place.

One of the ideas that defines La Escapadita is something we call Open With The Tide.

We decide based on the ocean.
When the conditions line up and the beach fills with surfers chasing the morning tide, we open early.

Boards stacked outside.
Saltwater still drying on everyone’s skin.
Some mornings there are fifty surfers in the water.

The ocean creates the crowd.
We simply show up when it matters.

Every sunset in Esterillos is different.
Some arrive in soft pastel colors.
Others explode across the sky in impossible shades of orange, pink, and gold.

That is why our daily rhythm naturally slows as the sun approaches the horizon.
