For us, Full Moon Nights have always been exactly that.
It started years ago with the legendary LowTide Lounge—a place where the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica came alive under the moonlight. Back then, the party would spill right onto the beach, with music that didn’t just play—it moved people. Los Mojados was there, playing our hearts out, becoming the heartbeat of gatherings that became part of the coast’s cultural history.
Fast forward to today, and the legacy continues—now at La Escapadita, our newly acquired beachfront property in Esterillos Centro. We’ve been hard at work renovating this spot, shaping it into more than just a venue—it’s becoming a true community hub. A place where locals, travelers, and music lovers from all over can connect, celebrate, and make new memories by the sea.
Why the Full Moon Matters to Us
The moon has always been more than a backdrop for our music—it’s a symbol of connection. Every month, it pulls the tides, lights up the waves, and invites us to gather. The Full Moon Party is our way of celebrating that pull—an evening for the community to come together, dance barefoot in the sand, share stories by the bonfire, and simply enjoy the magic of this coast we all love.
This isn’t just about music. It’s about:
- Clean Beaches: We encourage everyone to leave nothing behind but footprints. Our gatherings always promote environmental care and respect for this incredible place we call home.
- Community First: We want Esterillos to have a regular space to connect, laugh, and support one another.

On Friday, August 9th from 4pm to 10pm, La Escapadita will come alive again with:
- 🎶 Live Music by Los Mojados – Costa Rica’s original Central Pacific rock band since 2003.
- 🔥 Bonfire on the Beach – The perfect gathering point as the moon rises.
- 🛍 Artisan Fair – Unique crafts and creations from local artists.
- 🍻 Cold Beer & Cocktails – Including our soon-to-come Los Mojados Craft Beer.
- 🌊 Beachfront Bliss – Waves, sand, stars, and plenty of good vibes.
We’re building a tradition here—a celebration that honors our past at LowTide Lounge while creating something fresh for this new space in Esterillos Centro. And we want you to be a part of it.
Come early, stay late, bring your friends, and make memories. The moon will rise over the Pacific, the music will play, and the fire will burn until the night says it’s time to go.
